DIAMOND BAKERY ANNOUNCES THE BIRTH OF THREE NEW PRODUCTS

September 28th, 2014 – Diamond Bakery is excited to announce the birth of three new products from the Diamond Bakery test kitchen – Blueberry Royal Creem Crackers, Coconut Graham Crackers and Sesame Seed Soda Crackers.

“We are just a few days away from celebrating 94 years of sharing heartwarming Aloha,” said Gary Yoshioka, President of Diamond Bakery Company, Ltd. “To commemorate the occasion we are excited to share these great-tasting new products with Kama’aina.”

Diamond Bakery has been Hawaii’s favorite way to snack since 1921 and bake over 1 million crackers a day at their factory on Moowaa Street. “We debuted the products at the Made In Hawaii festival this year and they were a huge hit” said Mr. Yoshioka. “Most locals grew up with Diamond Bakery products in the house and they are always excited when they see that we are adding more varieties that they can create new memories with and share with their keiki.”

Although the company is nearly a century old, it is still innovating. Relying on their own tremendous experience, consumer testing, and lots of sharing, they developed these three new flavors especially for locals. “The products launch 10/12 statewide at Foodland, Times, Don Quojete, KTA, and Kmart” said Mr. Yoshikoa “Followed by a rollout at Longs, Walmart, Tamuras, Walgreens, Safeway, four Commissaries, as well as other popular retailers.”
