October 12th, Honolulu, Hawaii –Diamond Bakery is excited to be celebrating its 95th anniversary today on October 12th, 2016. What started off as a dream between three Japanese immigrants has grown to become a household name in Hawaii. 

“We’ve been Hawaii’s favorite way to snack since 1921” said Gary Yoshioka, President of Diamond Bakery Company, Ltd. “We are incredibly proud to be one of Hawaii’s oldest companies, baking over 1 million crackers a day right here at our factory.”

The company is celebrating by sending its Aloha Team to unexpected places all over Oahu in October and giving away their new line of Grab N’ Go crackers. 

 “We’re going to give away 9,500 packs of crackers starting today right downtown at Fort Street Mall” said Yoshioko “wanted to do something special and unexpected to show the community how much their support means to us, our brand is all about sharing aloha and doing something to brighten people’s day.”

The company has big plans for year 95. “In addition to Grab N’ Go line, we have also redesigned our Hawaiian Cookie Christmas collection. It’s the limited edition and will be available in stores around third week of October, just in time for Christmas. “2017 is going to be another busy year for us. We have lines of projects filled our pipeline of new product development, including Hawaiian Biscuit Crackers that created a lot of buzz when we tested at this year’s made in Hawaii show”, said Yoshioko.
